A Mattoon woman was injured in an accident on I-57 Tuesday night. According to the Illinois State Police, 33-year-old Rachel Pike was southbound at a high rate of speed near milepost 236 when she collided with a tractor trailer driven by 35-year-old Judy Moore, of Pennsylvania. Pike was ticketed for DUI, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and following too closely.
