According to a recent press release from Illinois State Police District 12, on Wednesday, May 23rd 72 year old George William Stillman from St. Charles, Missouri was traveling east along I-70 at milepost 91, just 1 mile west of Effingham, when for unknown reasons entered the median turnaround and began traveling east; during which, Stillman lost control of his Ford F150 and entered the ditch on the south side of I-70. Stillman overturned multiple times and was totally ejected from the truck. Stillman was pronounced deceased at the Scene by the Effingham County Coroner.
