Southern Illinois Bracing For Alberto’s Remnants
(Paducah, KY) — Southern Illinois will see the worst of what’s left of Tropical Storm Alberto. The National Weather Service says parts of southern and southeastern Illinois could see more than an inch of rain today as the remnants of the tropical storm push into the Midwest. The worst of the storm is expected to hit from Vandalia to the Indiana border, and down to the Kentucky state line. Folks there could see as much as three inches of rain before it’s all said and done.
