Golfer Daphne Chang is the Eastern Illinois University Newcomer of the Year. Chang, who also earned All-OVC Newcomer Team honors, had one of the most successful seasons in recent EIU history, posting a stroke average of 79.25. She was twice named OVC Golfer of the Week, had four top ten finishes, and six top fifteen finishes.
