An Effingham man faces multiple charges following a motorcycle accident just after midnight. According to the Illinois State Police, 56-year-old Marek Woronowicz took the turn on the Altamont entrance ramp too fast, left the roadway and came to a rest on the embankment. He was ticketed for DUI alcohol, improper lane usage, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, and no valid insurance.
