The body of the man found in the Wabash River this week has been identified as 49-year-old David Overbay, of Lawrenceville. Police say his truck stopped working and he did not have a cell phone to call for help. He left the vehicle before officers arrived and for unknown reasons, tried to swim across the river. The investigation continues.
