A Charleston woman was injured in a three-vehicle accident on I-57 yesterday morning. According to the Illinois State Police, a vehicle driven by 73-year-old Billie York, of Fairfield suffered an equipment malfunction, causing it to lose control and come to rest partially in the southbound lanes. 28-year-old Tiara Wyatt, of Charleston, lost control of her vehicle while attempting to avoid York’s SUV, and struck a tractor-trailer driven by 74-year-old James Dunn, of Millington, Tennessee. Wyatt was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
