Here are upcoming events and how you can help the Casey Saddle Club:
For 2018 we are hosting a Friday night lights buckle series AND IBRA (International Barrel Racers Associations) and a Saturday INRA and NPBA (National Pole Benders Association) show. Our Friday night show starts at 6:30 pm and our Saturday starts at 10am. August 17 and 18 and October 19 and 20.
We also conduct clinics and trail rides.
We are constantly needing volunteers. It takes 9-14 people to run our shows. Currently our only volunteers are 3 families and that’s about it. So if someone comes down sick or hurt the day of a show, we are in a pinch to find help.
It also takes a lot of money to run a show. We have awards to purchase, insurance, and the upkeep of our entire facilities. We request sponsors every year but it gets harder and harder to find people to donate time, money, or materials.
We currently need to replace our entire arena ($4,000-7,000) before freight or travel to get it. We need about 3” of sand and dirt added to our entire arena. We are needing to purchase a new arena tool to work the arena ($3500). We are also needing new bleachers for our spectators to watch our shows from. We would also like to eventually get a few more lights installed for our night time shows.
