Suspect In U Of I Scholar’s Death Ask For Presidential Info
(Urbana, IL) — The man facing charges for the death of a Chinese-born University of Illinois scholar wants to know if President Trump talked about his case. Brendt Christensen’s lawyers on Friday asked to get any information they can from President Trump’s Administration about Ying Ying Zhang’s disappearance and whether the president spoke to Chinese officials about the case. Federal prosecutors are pushing charges against Christensen for Zhang’s kidnapping and death, and his trial is set for April.
