FEMA Reimbursing Key West For Hurricane Debris Removal
(Key West, FL) — The city of Key West is getting more than one-point-seven-million-dollars in federal assistance to help recover from Hurricane Irma. The hurricane deposited more than 137-thousand cubic yards of debris. FEMA has announced it will reimburse 90-percent of the costs of removing it. The agency had previously approved two-point-seven-million-dollars in public assistance grants to help reimburse Key West for Hurricane Irma-related expenses.
