(Merriam, KS) — The company that makes Lee and Wrangler jeans is getting out of the denim business. VF Corporation announced today it is splitting off its denim lines and will focus instead on its fast-growing active and outdoor wear. Lee jeans is moving its headquarters from Merriam, Kansas to Greensboro, North Carolina to join Wrangler. VF Corporation is keeping its North Face, JanSport and Dickies clothing lines and the company announced it will move its headquarters from Greensboro to Denver. Lee jeans has been in Kansas for more than 100 years. The new company has not been named yet.
