(New York, NY) — A new report finds nearly ten-thousand people have been diagnosed with 9/11-related cancers linked to the toxic dust at Ground Zero. The New York Post reports the federal World Trade Center Health Program has counted nine-thousand-795 first responders, downtown residents, workers and students who have come down with cancers related to the residual aftermath of September 11th. The group’s medical director, Dr. Michael Crane says the WTC Health Program at Mount Sinai still gets up to 20 referrals a week from people getting sick with suspected 9/11 illnesses.
