New Law Looks To Get Tougher On Texting And Driving
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois drivers who get caught texting from behind the wheel three times in a year could soon lose their license. Governor Rauner this week signed a new law that gets tougher on texting while driving. Starting next July, texting and driving becomes a moving violation, which goes on a driver’s record and could lead to the loss of their license.
