Governor Rauner Vetoes Work Ethic Class For School Kids
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner says he wants school kids in Illinois to learn about hard work, but he doesn’t think local schools need to be forced to teach a work ethic class. The governor yesterday vetoed a plan to require a work ethic curriculum starting in the sixth grade. Rauner says he doesn’t want state lawmakers to dictate to local schools how they should teach about hard work.
