Broadway Theaters Dimming Marquee Lights Tonight To Honor Neil Simon
(New York, NY) — Broadway theaters are dimming their lights tonight to honor Neil Simon. The prolific playwright, who has a theater named for him on West 52nd Street, died Sunday at the age of 91. Simon is a three-time Tony Award winner for The Odd Couple, Biloxi Blues and Lost in Yonkers, which also won a Pulitzer Prize for Drama. Marquee lights on the Great White Way will go dark at 6:45 Eastern time for the Bronx-born Simon and stay dark for 60 seconds.
