(Washington, DC) — The U.S. is confirming the death of a self-proclaimed leader of ISIS in Afghanistan. Officials say Abu Saad Orakzai was killed in an August 25th airstrike in the Nangarhar province of Afghanistan. This marks the third time an ISIS leader has been killed by U.S. forces in Afghanistan. In a statement, top military commander General Scott Miller said America and her allies are in Afghanistan to maintain pressure on the trans-regional terrorists trying to plot attacks from places like Afghanistan.
