Central Illinois Stage Company (CISCo) is serving up comedy with their latest production “The Kitchen Witches.” Tickets are only $10 and available for purchase online at www.centraliltheatre.com. Tickets will also be available at the door 30 minutes prior to the performance. Performances are set for September 13 – 15 at 7:30pm. Also, Sunday, September 16 at 2pm.
The award-winning comedy, written by Caroline Smith, tells the story of two rival cooking show hosts, Dolly Biddle (played by Rachel Z. Fisher) and Isobel Lomax, (played by Ann Bruehler). The two have been rivals for 30 years, but are thrown together as co-hosts of a new show, called “The Kitchen Witches.”
The women’s rivalry began when they both dated the same man, who ended up marrying Dolly. The couple’s son, Stephen (played by Justin Janney) works as “The Kitchen Witches” producer and peacemaker.
