(Cupertino, CA) — Apple kicked off its annual fall event by announcing new iPhones and wearable devices. CEO Tim Cook says the company has reached a major milestone and is about to ship its two billionth iOS device. At its headquarters in California today, the company launched the “Series 4” Apple Watch that will feature screens thirty-percent larger than the previous versions. The watch has new health features including an electrocardiogram function to measure heart irregularities. This feature has backed by the FDA which regulates medical devices. Apple also announced three new versions of the iPhone, all of which have edge-to-edge screen display and forgo home buttons.
