Brewers, Granderson Cut Down Cubs
(Chicago, IL) — Curtis Granderson went 3-for-4 with a home run to help the Brewers beat the Cubs 5-1 at Wrigley Field. Lorenzo Cain also had three hits and an RBI as Milwaukee took the rubber match of the three-game series. Mike Moustakas plated a pair of runs for the Crew, which pulled to within one game of Chicago in the NL Central. Kris Bryant doubled home the Cubs’ run in the fifth to make it a 2-1 game. Milwaukee got three in the ninth to pull away. Josh Hader earned the win, while Kyle Hendricks took the loss.
