Illinois Farmers Bringing In Their Crops
(Springfield, IL) — Illinois farmers are getting a jump on the harvest. The latest USDA Crop Report for the state says that, as of Sunday, farmers in Illinois had brought-in 12 percent of their corn and four percent of their beans. Given the warm start to the week, those numbers are sure to rise for next week. The report says that 76 percent of both the corn and bean crop are rated good to excellent.
