Michael Jordan Donating $2M To NC Hurricane Relief Efforts
(Wilmington, NC) — Michael Jordan is donating two million dollars to hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina. Hurricane Florence hit both Carolinas, leaving over than 30 people dead. Jordan grew up in Wilmington, and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He also owns the NBA team the Charlotte Hornets. Half of his donation will be given to the American Red Cross, and the other half will go to the Foundation For The Carolinas’ Hurricane Florence Response Fund.
