Braves, Freeman Foil Cardinals To Snap Skid
(Cumberland, GA) — Freddie Freeman went 3-for-3 with a home run and three RBI to help power the Braves to a 7-3 win over the Cardinals in Atlanta. Tyler Flowers also reached the seats as the Braves snapped a four-game losing streak. Touki Toussaint [[ TOO-kee too-SAHNT ]] struck out eight while pitching two-run ball into the sixth inning for the win. Jack Flaherty gave up five runs and didn’t make it out of the fifth for St. Louis. Harrison Bader homered for the Redbirds, who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
