Seven Day Manhunt Ends, Accused Killer In Custody
(Indian Mound, TN) — Officers in Tennessee are expressing relief at the capture of an accused killer after a week-long manhunt. Kirby Wallace was wanted in connection to the death of two people in Stewart and Montgomery Counties. Wallace was captured in a wooded area this morning after being surprised by Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew and a corporal, who were keeping an eye out on the area from tree stands. Belew remarked that Wallace admitted that he considered starting a firefight, but figured the police had the drop on him and decided otherwise.
