Breast Cancer Cases Among Men Near Ground Zero Continue to Rise
(New York, NY) — Men who lived or worked near Ground Zero continue to step forward to report they are suffering with breast cancer. Lawyer Michael Barasch who represents them tells The New York Post the numbers have doubled from 15 to 30 in the last month. Nationwide men account for just one percent of breast cancer cases. Barasch also represents 500 women with breast cancer who lived or worked in the area and urges anyone who believes they may have been exposed to the deadly toxins downtown after 9-11 to get tested.
