Manhunt For Mail Bomb Suspect Focuses On South Florida
(Opa-Locka, FL) — Investigators say their manhunt for the person who sent mail bombs to former President Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and other critics of President Donald Trump is focusing on South Florida. The Miami-Dade Police Department’s bomb squad and K-9 units are helping FBI agents look for clues at a U.S. Postal Service mail facility in Opa-Locka. Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen told reporters several of the mail bomb packages were sent from Florida. Through Thursday, investigators had discovered ten packages with explosives sent to former President Obama, Clinton, former Vice President Joe Biden, actor Robert De Niro, CNN and others.
