(Oglesby, IL) — Two of Illinois’ most popular state parks are getting a little bigger. Governor Rauner yesterday announced the state is buying just over 26 hundred acres of land to expand Starved Rock and Matthiessen state parks. The state will spend 11 million-dollars on the land.
