Undecided Races Will Determine Final GOP Senate Majority
(Undated) — Republicans will keep control of the Senate and appear to increasing their majority with least three races are still undecided. Florida may be headed for a runoff. Republican Governor Rick Scott holds a four-tenths of a percent lead over three-term Democratic Senator Bill Nelson. Florida law requires a runoff if the lead is less than half a percent. In Montana, Republican State Auditor Matt Rosendale has a seven-tenths of a percent lead over two-term Democratic Senator Jon Tester. But nearly 20-percent of votes still haven’t been counted. In Arizona, GOP Congresswoman Martha McSally leads Democratic Representative Kyrsten Sinema by eight-tenths of a percent. Arizona election officials say a final count might not be in until Thursday, at the earliest.
