There are at least 31 reported deaths in the wildfires that are consuming both ends of California. The Camp Fire in Northern California has killed 29 people, matching the Griffith Park Fire in 1933 as the deadliest on record. The Woolsey Fire in Southern California has claimed the lives of two people. Hundreds of thousands of residents have been forced to leave their homes. Governor Jerry Brown is pushing for President Trump to declare a major disaster, which would allocate more federal emergency funds to California.
