Barack Obama Urges Patience At Obama Foundation Summit
(Chicago, IL) — Former President Barack Obama is urging organizers and social innovators to be patient in their efforts for change. Speaking yesterday at the second annual Obama Foundation summit in Chicago, Obama said societies are complex things that don’t turn like switches. He also discussed his experiences as a politician, writing his book and challenging racism and segregation. The summit was a two-day event that brought together community leaders from around the world in an effort to create positive change in their communities.
