Stocks Tumble On Wall Street Amid Trade Concerns
(New York, NY) — Stocks are sharply lower, with all three major U.S. indexes falling more than three percent. Trade concerns are weighing heavily on Wall Street, along with indications from the bond market of an economic slowdown. Doubt over a permanent trade deal between China and the United States was on the mind of investors. President Trump took to Twitter this morning to say he was the “Tariff man.” The financial sector also contributed to losses on Wall Street. The only bright spot today were utilities, as they rose just under one-percent. The Dow lost 799 points today to close at 25-027. The Nasdaq dropped 283 to 71-58. The S&P 500 lost 90 points to 27-hundred.
