A huge diamond over two inches has been found in Canada. The rough gemstone was unearthed at a diamond mine in Canada’s Northwest Territories in October. The mining company said in a statement that the 552-carat yellow diamond is the largest ever discovered in North America. It’s nearly three times the size of the previous record holder, discovered at the same diamond mine in 2015.
