(New Brunswick, NJ) — Pharmaceutical giant Johnson & Johnson is being accused of knowing for decades that its baby powder had trace amounts of asbestos in it.

Reuters says the asbestos information was found in a lawsuit claiming the product can be linked to ovarian cancer. The allegations made yesterday sent Johnson & Johnson stock into a free-fall. The company, however, is calling the news report “one-sided, false and inflammatory.”
