Nearly Six Millions People From Illinois Expected To Travel This Holiday Season
(Chicago, IL) — Almost all of the holiday travel in Illinois will be by car this year. The Triple-A Chicago Motorclub’s Beth Mosher says nearly six million people from the state are expected to travel somewhere this Christmas season. That’s more than four percent more than last year. Mosher says a strong economy and low gas prices are helping drive the boom. Her best advice for holiday travelers is to get both a designated driver and a designated texter, so the trip can be safer.
