Don’t Make Your Bed Day
(Undated) — You can save yourself a little time this morning because it’s Don’t Make Your Bed Day. The holiDay started in 2014, after a fifth grader in New Mexico wrote a letter to Congress petitioning for one Day a year that didn’t involve the chore of making the Bed. They were sick of doing it each morning, and figured adults were, too. They also figured that people spent the least amount of time out of Bed toDay, anyway, since it’s the shortest Day of the year. So don’t worry about fixing your comforter, folding your blanket or arranging your pillows. When you’re ready to hit the hay tonight, everything will be just how you left it, so you can hop into Bed right away and get a good night’s sleep.
