The University of Illinois says its planned Innovation Hub in Peoria will focus on underserved communities, as well as studying food, farms, and infrastructure. The university yesterday announced a partnership with OSF Healthcare, Illinois Central College, and the Greater Peoria Economic Development Council. The U of I still needs to find the money, so nothing is final yet. The Peoria innovation hub is just one piece of the U of I’s planned Illinois Innovation Network.
