Dick Durbin Says President Trump Is Holding America Hostage
(Washington, D.C.) — Illinois’ senior U.S. Senator says President Trump is holding the country hostage during the partial government shutdown. The President took to Twitter yesterday to say that most of the people who are not being paid during the nearly-week old shutdown are Democrats. Democratic Senator Dick Durbin fired back his own tweet that blames the President for the shutdown, and says it’s all over what he calls an ‘outrageous’ demand for a border wall.
