Central Illinois Man In Jail After Running From Cab, Then Cops
(Pekin, IL) — A central Illinois man’s path to jail reads like a list of things that you shouldn’t do. Creve Coeur Police say 44-year-old Jesse Hardin tried to skip out on his cab fare Friday night. While looking into that case, police say they found that Hardin had meth in his pocket and an active warrant. When officers put him into the squad car, they say Hardin smashed his face into the plexiglass divider. When officers took him to the hospital, they say Hardin then tried to run away. Creve Coeur Police then tased Hardin, and were finally able to get him to jail. He’s now facing a slew of charges.
