Ex-Basketball Coach Wants To Withdraw Guilty Plea
(Charleston, IL) — A former girls basketball coach wants to withdraw his guilty plea to sex abuse charges. Barry Wolfe’s new attorneys filed the paperwork with the court in Coles County last week. Wolfe is serving 60 years in prison for forcing some of his players to perform sex acts on him. Wolfe wrote a letter to the judge in his case that he wants to withdraw his guilty plea because his first lawyers mislead him about how much time he’d spend in prison.
