WWE Announcer ‘Mean Gene’ Okerlund Dead At 76
(Undated) — Famed professional wrestling announcer “Mean Gene” Okerlund is dead at the age of 76. World Wrestling Entertainment made the announcement on Twitter this morning. Okerlund spent more than four decades conducting interviews and calling matches for some of the biggest names in sports entertainment such as Hulk Hogan, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, Andre the Giant and dozens more. He was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2006.
