Bustos Named To House Appropriation Committee
(Washington, D.C.) — The Quad Cities’ Democratic congresswoman will soon have a say in how the federal government spends money. Leaders named Congresswoman Cheri Bustos to the House Appropriations Committee yesterday. That’s the panel that sets federal spending for a number of pieces of the federal government. Bustos says she hopes to use her new position of power to cut red tape and inefficiency in Congress.
