Quad Cities Congresswoman: Democrats Are Offering High Tech Border Options
(Washington, D.C.) — The Quad Cities’ Democratic congresswoman says her party doesn’t want anything to do with a border wall. Congresswoman Cheri Bustos penned an op-ed in yesterday’s Quad City Times where she dismisses President Trump’s border wall, instead she says more drones and cameras could do the job at the southern border. Bustos says the partial government shutdown, which is now almost a month old, is making the country less safe because some Border Patrol and TSA agents are working without pay.
