49ers Owed $36 million in tax refunds
(Santa Clara, CA) — The owners of the San Francisco 49ers are getting a 36 million-dollar tax refund from Santa Clara County. The county assessment board has cut the yearly tax on the 49er’s from 12-million-dollars per year to just six-million. The assessment goes back to 2014 and is based on the Niner’s use of the public ally owned stadium. The Santa Clara Unified School District will have to refund 13-million-dollars from the school budget. The rest of the refund will come from the county and West Community College.
