Illinois Governor Issues Disaster Proclamation For Cold
(Springfield, IL) — The state of Illinois is on standby for the bitter cold. Governor J.B. Pritzker yesterday issued a disaster declaration and opened Illinois’ emergency operation center to track today’s dangerous weather. The state is willing to offer help to any community that needs it because of today’s bitter cold. Governor Pritzker says people should just stay home, and ride out the cold if they can.
