Polar Vortex Cancels Hundreds Of Flights
(Chicago, IL) — Brutal arctic weather gripping the Midwest is causing thousands of flights to be canceled or delayed. According to Flightaware, nearly 25-hundred flights are canceled across the country with more than 17-hundred delayed. Chicago’s O’Hare and Midway International Airports have been impacted the most by cancellations and delays. Also feeling the effects are passengers coming through Minneapolis/Saint Paul International. The cold weather has prompted states of emergency declared in Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin.
