Shooting Suspect Fled To Saudi Arabia
(Danville, IL) — The sheriff in Vermilion County says there’s nothing he can do to get the suspect in a shooting from earlier this month. Investigators say 20-year-old Rod Al-Ruwaily is the man who fired three shots at a house in Georgetown, Illinois back on January 16th. One of those bullets hit a woman as she was driving by. Al-Ruwaily is facing charges and a ten-million-dollar bond, but he’s fled to Saudi Arabia. The sheriff says there’s nothing he can do to bring Al-Ruwaily back to the U.S.
