The giant slide at the Illinois State Fair is up for sale. The slide, which has been a mainstay at the fair since 1968, was recently repossessed by Prairie State Bank and Trust. The asking price is $135,000. A spokesperson for the bank said the slide can either be moved to a new location or remain at the fairgrounds under a new lease.
