Casey In Action presents Salt & Light: Hope, Love and Service
Casey In Action presents Salt & Light: Hope, Love and Service, a special evening of Christian music and a recognition of volunteers set for Sunday, Feb. 17 at Casey United Methodist Church.
Light refreshments will be served from 5:30 to 6 in the church Fellowship Hall with the concert to begin at 6. Performers include the gospel quartet, Legacy; Diamonds of the Fifth Grade, a group from Casey-Westfield’s Monroe School; a vocal ensemble of Far Off Broadway Players and soloists John Crouch, Cara Shoaff, Roger Biggs, Gary Fairchild and Ty Tuttle.
CIA will also recognize community volunteers and is asking the public for help compiling a list. Volunteers can be those who are highly visible in the community and area, or those who quietly and humbly help others by offering support and assistance to those in need.
To include someone you consider to be of service to others, send the volunteer’s name, a brief description of how they serve others, your name and contact information to Casey In Action, PO Box 163, Casey, IL 62420 by Feb. 10. A free will donation will be taken during the concert.
