Illinois’ Congressional Delegation Split On State Of The Union
(Washington, DC) — The deciding factor into how Illinois’ people in Congress view President Trump’s State of the Union speech seems to be politics. Democratic U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth called the president’s speech last night ‘reckless rhetoric.’ But Republicans, like central Illinois Congressman Rodney Davis said the president focused on the strong economy and policies that will help American families.
