A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect until 10 am for the counties of Schuyler, Logan, De Witt, Piatt, Champaign, Vermilion, Cass, Menard, Scott, Morgan, Sangamon, Christian, Macon, Moultrie, Douglas, Coles, Edgar, Shelby, Cumberland, Clark, Effingham, Jasper, Crawford, Clay, Richland, and Lawrence. Limited visibilities will make travel very difficult. In addition, areas that have temperatures below freezing could also accrue a thin layer of ice on untreated surfaces.
