Archdiocese Of Indianapolis Suspends Priest Over Sexual Abuse Allegation
(Indianapolis, IN) — The Archdiocese of Indianapolis has suspended a priest over an allegation of sexual abuse. The church says it learned of an allegation against Father David J. Marcotte last week and reported it to authorities. Marcotte is prohibited from public ministry while the allegation that he sexually abused a minor in 2016 is investigated by church and police officials. Marcotte had been assigned to both the University of Indianapolis and Roncalli High School within the past decade.
